Omicron Media is a multinational company headquartered out of Winter
Park, Florida that was started in 2002. Omicron Media is comprised of
Eweka Internet Services, HW Media, TweakNews and XLned, and manages
several Tier 1 Usenet service providers.
Astraweb uses omicron media! Basically, the only servers with good
retention use Omicron. Even European Eweka, which is the best Euro
server, is Omicron.
Then there are the minor servers like Giganews with low retention and
massive takedowns. Giganews is not Omicron and low retention.
