You know what Charles, you're absolutely right. My personal opinion
would be that even mentioning the conduct of a few American servicemen
in Vietnam, or anywhere else in the same context as the German army in
World War II is an abomination. Further it is a libel on the US
military of the type usually heard from the anti-military types in
this country (US) who are adept at guilt by association)
My fault entirely for being too quick with the cut & paste and not
reading, and understanding, what I'm pasting. In general I like Robert
Kershaw's books but in this case he is dead wrong when it comes to the
American military.

My apologies for letting that get past me. I'm actually embarrassed
about it.
