If I am correctly interpreting your narrative, it would seem you are
equating the state sponsored, mass extinction by the Nazi's of the
Soviet armed forces with a few criminal acts by individual American
servicemen in Vietnam.
If so, there could be nothing further from the truth. The Germans,
a.k.a. Nazis intentionally set out to exterminate Russian soldiers as
Hitler deemed them as being sub-human. The policy of the United
States in Vietnam was, in no means, reflected in the criminal acts of
a few individuals.
Whereas I appreciate the historical nature of the photographs you have
been posting, I find it imperative to keep in mind the horrific and
some would say evil behaviors of the German nation in the prosecution
of virtually every aspect of WWII.
All just my humble opinion and I do thank you for posting the
photographs.
