I see AUTOMOTIVE MECH 014, SIGNAL CORPS.

I know he was in 24 OCT 1942 thru 19 AUG 1946, and did 5 mos 24 days
foreign service.  I believe he said he was on Saipan in the Marianas
and worked stringing telephone wire on poles.  He told me he also
worked in the motor pool fixing trucks.

That's about all I know except that he did like being in the service.

I've never seen his dog tags.  I wish I still had them.
