Early July 1941-according to the caption in German the troops on the
tank are "Etappenschweine "-which I believe translates to something
close to 'rear area swine'-which would equate to something like USMC
'rear-area pogue' or more affectionally 'rear-area
mother-fuckers'-there was no love lost between combat troops and those
who served in the rear-especially when it came to souvenirs. Anyway
these rear troops are no doubt removing everything not welded down
from this tank.
