forbidden. Sightseers endanger not only their own lives but also the
lives of their comrades." This was an effort to keep curious rear
service troops, Etappenschweine (rear swine) , seeking souvenirs out
of the way of the Frontsoldaten. "Umleitung" means "Detour."
