I was reading the SAS on D-Day had a number of Jeeps air dropped into France.
Supposedly they were hung under the bomb bay of Halifax bombers....
Picture 21 shows a jeep being dropped out the rear of an aircraft, but I can't
think of any WWII aircraft that had a cargo ramp or door like this, can you?
