Are you being deliberately obtuse? How is one to interpret the following as
anything but an insult?

It is quite obvious you were implying that my education was lacking and doing so
simply because we disagree. In fact, I would consider this an ad hominem
attack, albeit one which is rather unsophisticated, even lowbrow.
Considering your extensive use of straw man arguments and ad hominem attacks,
agreeing to disagree would appear to be the most civility I can expect from you
in this exchange.
It is a shame, as the subject matter was quite interesting and I was hoping you
would be able to provide some valid points to support your assertions. Needless
to say, I was disappointed but not surprised.
