In the mid 80's, I was assigned to Ft Sam Houston, TX, and did a lot of
traveling to Baton Rouge, supporting US Army Reserve anf National Guard
units. Went aboard the Kidd several times. Very interesting how she's
moored so as the flood passes, she rises with it.
