Frank, if you didn't like the pictures, you should exercise your freedom not
to look at them after the first few!

Do you sometimes donate food at your local pantry for all
the needy people in your area?
Well, if you show up with a case of diet soda and some bags
of marshmallows, the pantry officials will, rudely or
otherwise, reject your kind offer on the grounds that
it does not fulfill basic nutritional requirements.
(Sure. I don't care if you drove 100 miles to deliver
it. Get that junk out of here.)
Before you donate, understand the proper way of doing
it.
This kind of stuff is everywhere. Youtube videos with
extremely poor compression and annoyingly inconsistent
audio levels is just one example. News sites with postage-
stamp-sized, underexposed, and out-of-focus images are
another.
The answer is simple: before you make a contribution
understand the technology involved (or hire a consultant
that will understand it for you). There are no constrains
on Usenet. Take advantage of the freedom and let the
huge bit streams flow

It's all in the eye of the beholder.
