Certainly, you'll need to get a file-joining utility for your platform.
I think on a PC, that would be MasterSplitter (there are others), for
joining and/or splitting files. The parts need to be assembled into
a complete vid. The first one (.001) should play, but only that part,
until the joining is completed. Par (parity) files are used to rebuild
or reconstruct the bits that are missing from a server.
On the Mac, I use MacPAR deLuxe, in conjunction with Split&Concat.
