I use the ancient ACDSee 32, V2.4, C1995-1998. It really doesn't care about
errors, just slaps up the picture.
It also colors the line in file manager part by what kind of image it is.
It claims this is really a .png.
Anyone that's interested might try changing the extension on the original
post and see if that works for them.
