I can tell you a funny story about 'the girl next door'...
This may be 10 years ago now. I was home one day early from
work or something or other, don't remember why. But it was a week day
and I had finished mowing the lawn so I guess I had the day off. I
had gone inside when the little(jailbait) redhead next door came home
from school with her boyfriend.
My house is one of the few houses on this street that has
windows on all sides so I can see their driveway. So I'm at my
kitchen sink and what do I see? His car, she's got him in the
passenger seat riding him! Call me an asshole if you will, but I
almost went over there and broke that up. I wanted to but I didn't
'cause I thought to myself, "It's none of your business." The second
thought I had on that was taking a picture and showing it to the
(single)mother saying "this is what happens when you're not around".
Again, I didn't...none of my business. In fact, I never even said
anything to the mother.
Maybe I should have though. A few months later she ends up
pregnant. Huh! Wonder how that happened? If I'd done what I thought
about doing, they could have just gone into the house and got it on in
there. Nothing I can do about that and maybe she's fucking him every
chance she gets. ??? This girl was just starting HS, I think. And
so how well could all that go? I don't really know the rest of the
story. Wasn't good though. You know they can't support a child.
She'd been a little cat in heat around the neighborhood too
and wasn't done. She moved in for a time with the bachelor across the
street and that didn't last too long. This was after the birth too.
The kid always stayed at the mom's house though. :-/
The back story: your kids learn from you. The white mom is
divorced, twice I think because the redhead is, of course, white, but
she has two other black sons.
Dysfunctional families - the new norm? I'm not looking down
on them, mind you. I'm from a broken family, as well many of you
might be too. :-/ As kids, these are the cards we're dealt.
Maybe this isn't a "funny" story after all.
