You make a good distraction for me 'cause I'm PISSED OFF about
something right now.
I know the Human Genome was mapped, but I don't think we know
everything there is to know about it. Some things we know...which
genes cause these abnormalites, etc. I am quite sure we'll, the human
race, will find a way to annihilate ourselves. We might even take out
the whole planet with us. This is just another way to get there.
"Scum of the Earth"? Ya, that's us.
With no cure for viruses, I'm suprised that's not an option
this planet hasn't used to fight back! ...I heard the other day that
if we don't curb CO2 by 2030(???) that the atmosphere will go into
thermal runaway; a tipping point. Oh, joy.
With technology as advanced as it is now, the saying "things
have to get worse before they can get better" may now be untrue.
Things can get worse and then stay worse or get even worser.
We're only fucking ourselves, but we all just live for the
moment and we all want "more". All this pretend shit about "think
about the children/future/planet/fill-in-the-blank" is just blather.
So much fun in store! LOL
