I've taken to halving(size reduction) these big sets I want to
keep using Irfanview Batch Resize option. I do all my backups to DVD
too. As long as the sizes are 1920xXXXX or a little bigger I think
I'll be satisfiied.
Also I was reading in MaxPC this month of how SSD prices are
going to continue to fall this year. You can also, fairly reasonably,
get a 1TB SSD right now.
We're never going to have enough drive space for our digital
content. Just recognize that you can't keep it all. Maybe minimizing
the sizes will come back to bite me in the ass, who knows?
