Actually it's just what I said in my followup. The developer (by
default) shows the list (tree) view if there are less than 90% images
in the archive but counts dir/folders in that ratio (thus 1 dir needs 9
or 10 images).
I tested an archive with one jpeg and NO dirs-- it displayed normally
with EV's QL generator.
EV is a nice app but has quirks like any other app. Although the
schizophrenic quicklook behavior is a new one on me and caused me some
frustration.
