klatuuB is possibly the single best resource in new non-Marvel, non DC
releases (such as js' great scans) and klatuuB sticks to the same
hosters.
Seems some years back usenet ceased to be used as initial release
mechanism for most scanning groups. IRC at times i think was used
prior to and for brief time after usenet as primary. Nowadays
majority of releases are first announced on rings [think fight club in
terms of getting info] which in effect scrape the "topsites".
That said those looking for releases can be more than well served with
a combination of usenet, blogs and kaskus as well as "google-ing". All
will appear in those avenues even if it takes a few days. Also IRC is
still a viable method, not to mention could eventually lead to an
invite to one of the rings if they prove to be trustworthy.....
