No I do not notice any degradation. But if there is it is most likely
because the .cbz/.cbr is a jpeg file that is converted to a psd file,
worked on, and then converted back to a jpeg for compression to a .cbz
or .cbr file.

The way I normally work is I scan to a psd file and work on it. The
only time the file is converted to a jpeg is just before it's uploaded
or included in a cbz/cbr file. So in other word it's only saved as a
jpeg once.

So I guess my solution to a degradation problem is not to restore or
rework any comics unless I scan them, or if I do keep them for myself
and don't repost them.
