Bogart was only 5'8"...Bacall an inch taller at 5'9"...in the movie CasaBlanca,
Bogart's scenes with the 5'9" Ingrid Bergman were filmed with him sitting in a
chair or couch to keep Bergman from being taller...I think there were some
scenes with both of them standing where they actually had him standing on a box
or wearing lifts in his shoes to give him more height.
