No, this is not the nature of the usenet. There are a ton of groups that
only have posted material that is quality, and on topic. You might want
to consider exploring some of those groups. The sad bit is that this
group used to be that way before it was corrupted, and if more people
complained and started good posting again, it can be revived. I have
watched it take place in other groups.
