Probably sounds trite, but have you considered a dedicated
news downloader, and poster; such as news rover or ozum.
These may be quite a bit more flexible. News Rover is
$29.95 and Ozum was 49.95 at last count. There is also one
called Power Post, but you'll have to evesdrop in th news
for a website (or search).
