Even if they are mothballed at AMARG, odds are they will be probably
be reactivated for whatever ground conflict comes up next.
There is certainly a need for well armored and armed ground attack
aircraft. Just doesn't seem like the F-35 can adequately replace the
A-10 or even fly reliably.
