One of the dirty little non-secrets about stealth technology is it's
vulnerability to low frequency radar using the 3 - 30MHz spectrum.
Traditional radar operates today in the 2 - 40GHz range.
The problem with the low frequency radar is the sensitivity and the
extra clutter not to mention the size of the systems and previous
frequency allocations. However, with modern digital signal
processing, the low freq systems can be quite effective at detecting
even the most advanced stealth aircraft and ships, the Serbs used such
a system quite effectively in 1999.
