Bob, you didn't correct Admiral McRaven's letter to Donald Trump, you
interjected a diversionary comment about a former president.
Intelligent people are not easily distracted by such demagogic
deflections. Trump is president now, not Obama, not Clinton, not
Bush, no one but Trump.
Civil, logical, rational pertinent debate is encouraged. However,
there is nothing civil, logical or rational about the "two wrongs make
a right" defense or the mischaracterization of what is posted.
Admiral McRaven made no mention of "when" problems began, you are
serving up a red herring with that accusation. regardless of whether
other American presidents have exhibited similar behaviors, Admiral
McRaven has still correctly defined and identified several of the most
egregious behaviors of Donald Trump.
If you disagree with the Admiral, great. If you want to explain how
the Admiral's assessment of Trump is in error, outstanding. However,
if your defense of Trump is nothing but a factually unsubstantiated
assault against people who are distantly related to an issue, I for
one will challenge you on the red herrings and diversions.
