If your acquaintance steals a car and you go along for the ride, you
are an accomplice. This is how I view the Trump / Pence / Russia
treason situation. When Trump is removed, the smartest thing Pence
could do would be to resign.
As for the religious types, we have all known them and the cover they
seek from their dogma is nauseating. The way evangelicals so readily
turn a blind eye to the behaviors of Trump and his gangsters is quite
revealing, in fact, it reminds me of how the Vatican was complicit
with the Nazis, before, during and after the war.
It seems more and more like we will need to mount a modern day
operation Overlord but this time we will have to land on the shores of
the Potomac to oust the fascists.
