I will be one of what I think are millions of people who will be
pushing for severe limitations on presidential powers and many new
laws to prevent the kind of nepotism and other abuses that our
founders thought were impossible.
Most importantly, I think we need to insulate the justice department
from the administration. I am not sure how that would all look, but
we cannot have the Fox supervising the hen house.
It also might be a good idea to have a special counsel for each
administration, as a pressure valve to keep the administration honest.
Trump has shown us the depth to which a presidency can sink. He makes
Nixon look like a rank amateur crook.
