Just to clarify the topic: the issue Maga raised is not about the content of
your sig, it is about its appropriateness here in abpa.
"1st amendment and all that" do protect your right to express your opinion when
the time is appropriate, which nobody questions.
1st amendment does not say *_when and where_* it is appropriate.
Any person with maturity and manners will refrain from using his right to
express his opinion at the wrong times, say, during a friend's funeral or a
service, out of consideration.
In the same way, maybe you want to use this sig in the politics and discussion
groups, and maybe you could think whether it really contributes to enhance
things in abpa, which in recent years has been mercifully peaceful this way.
If one side starts pouncing about politics, eventually it's bound to tickle
somebody on the other side, and then it's all downhill towards the slugfest. Who
needs that...
Again, the question isn't about Trump or Obama or any other politickers being
despicable, but about keeping this group enjoyable. Between grownups who are
here to enjoy pictures of aviation.
