I am unaware of any drone which is fitted with the Gau 8 Avenger. Which weapon
system do you propose as a replacement for the A-10?
The USAF has positioned the F-35 as a replacement for the A-10, obviously, this
is not a drone.
As a retired USMC O-6, I have great respect for drones but it is my opinion CAS
should be flown by manned aircraft, even if the pilots are USAF......
