Tom was not only the star performer, but the driving force behind the show
between 1986 and 1990. It was his vision, his drive, his enthusiasm and
personality which convinced the top performers on the airshow circuit to
come to Oklahoma City and make Aerospace America an almost mandatory
performance for the elite of the industry.
I haven't seen an airshow out at Will Rogers in years.
They still have them at Tinker AFB and the Sundance Airpark, but they're
a far cry from what was:
