Looks like the "C" model gunship which was basically a modified "B" model with
wider rotor...replaced by the "G" model (Cobra)
Spent a lot of time flying the "D" model..finally got an "H" model with 300 more
SHP. You could actually try to lift a load which was too heavy in the D, and
watch the RPM drop as you got it light on the skids...then tell the crew chief
to start kicking out cargo to reduce the payload weight.
The heat in VNam could make the air thin and give you minor problems as well.
