Cranky,
It's so easy to forget the days of the 14" CGA monitor, connected to a 386
processor, hooked to a super-fast 14.4k modem, all running on Windows
3.11, but that was still the reality for many when lod- Old Story was
released by LS. Why even try to download the same images all over again?
And for those that did, why even try to post the same images all over
again?
Here's what you do:
Start with original Ukrainian Nymphets pics. You do have originals,
right?
Copy sets un-01 through un-79 to a new collection (Old Story).
Copy un set-81 but name it set 80.
Copy un set-88 but name it set 81.
Start The!Checker running and with a good csv file (try mine <bg>), let it
rename all your pics for you. You'll end up with one pic it couldn't
rename. Rename it yourself to lod-074-064r.jpg. Look around these groups
because in the past few days the real lod-074-064.jpg was posted. Add it
in.
Of course, if you didn't start with authentic un files, you'll end up with
a slew of unknowns.
Alternatively, rename all the pics yourself replacing "un-" with "lod-0".
This will get you close, but there will still be three folders with
errors. Swap the names of lod-021-024.jpg & lod-021-025.jpg. That gets
you down to two sets with errors. Rename lod-074-064.jpg to lod-074-
064r.jpg, then go get the corrupted original as above. This gets you down
to just one bad folder. Rename all the files in set 80, lowering them by
one, so that lod-081-002.jpg becomes lod-081-001.jpg and the lod-081-
001.jpg becomes lod-080-110.jpg.
