Let's start over if we can. I believe my colloquial use of the English
language is confusing you.
We are in a.b.picture.ls-series. You posted to a different group. The group
you posted to is a.b.pictures.ls-series. Notice the 's' in pictures. You
posted to a group with an extra letter in its name. Let me place one directly
above the other:
alt.binaries.picture.ls-series
alt.binaries.pictures.ls-series
You see they are not the same. These are two separate groups. Your
newsreader is configured to read and post here. Your posting program is
configured to post to the other. Change your newsposter so that it points to
this group. Then your posts will show up here. The other group is dead.
Almost no one goes there anymore.
Naming groups is a no-no in these places. I named this group, no harm done,
and I named a long dead group. Again, no harm done. Please don't ask me to
spell out active groups.
