FWIW, I say go for it. I wasn't intending to put a dent in anyone's
posting. (If I discover a treasure trove like that, how can I not
publicize it? It's too good to keep secret.) The thing is, a large
amount of the stuff we see in the groups is also available somewhere on
some web site, where it may or may not be easy to find. The way I look
at it, it's easier and more fun to get sets and vids from newsgroups,
if they happen to be available there.
Another point is that in the groups, you can (if you want) play
favorites with the models and make a priority list of which ones to
post soon and which ones to hold in abeyance for whenever ... using
whatever criteria you prefer. That way it becomes more of a personal
thing. Sort of like being a disc jockey.
