Hmmmmm. Depends which grand master you are talking about.
You've poked the slumbering art major in me. I always wanted to be an
erotic photographer, pushing boundaries, but back in my senior year in
college I discovered Robert Mappelthorpe and realized that I had nothing
original or interesting to add. I don't mean to sound presumptuous - I
was certainly nowhere near Mr. Mapplethorpe's league - but I had the
insight, at least, to realize that a career in art was not right for me.
In hindsight, I would have been very happy to be a tile crafstman. I did
my own kitchen 9 years ago, on a whim, and I dare say I did a fantastic
job. If you are interested I'd be happy to post a few photos of my
first-time work (ABNFB charter be damned).
