One possible disadvantage to crossposting in this new Usenet era
involves takedowns. I haven't seen any signs of that in these groups
so far. But I believe if takedowns start to be a problem,
crossposting will leave all of your eggs in one basket. Find one,
find them all. With multiposting, which indeed is wasteful, the
posts are not only separate, but can have different styled subjects in
each group. Making in harder to find them.
