I've never bothered to try to research this anywhere, so maybe this is
common knowledge for all I know, but I think you're correct about the
KP spam and that it's bait for FBI stings. In any case, that spam
seems to be inescapable in the newsgroups. I mean, it's all over the
place, like litter on city streets. Sometimes the FBI goatfucker who
is spewing it uses fake e-mail addresses that end in "@none.net>",
so you can use that as a filter on the "From" header for starters.
That'll catch some of it but not all.
