The compamy sets the QC, lower QC = higher profit!
Ever heard of statistics - Well if you went beyound basic
math you would know that it is how and when you sample.
More samples = more data and that allows more adjustment in
the process which reduces failure rate. That costs money.
WD settled for lower cost at the expense of higher failure.
ALL DRIVES FAIL! WOW I AM SO GLAD YOU TOLD ME!
WD called, they want their chapstick back!
