These movies have been recoded to 1920 x 1080 mp4 from the original 1920 x 1080 wmv.
The recoding was done with TMPGEnc, which is a very good and extremely flexible video editor, having very advanced image adjustment capabilities. PA is notorious for using too much color and/or having the color balance all screwed up, although their newer movies shot with their new camera are 100% better.
The recoded movies were white balanced and color adjusted for the best picture. Also, I sharpened the image just a tad. The sharpening algorithm I used is very compatible with the sharpness adjustment algorithm in VLC Player. The videos are already way better than the originals, but for an even better viewing experience I recommend using VLC Player if you're not already doing so, and set the sharpness in the VLC player. VLC is by far the best, most versatile and functional player around, and it's 100% free!
