I'm glad to help, in fact it's the 12 step, but you really need face
to face with people. Only a very small number of people will make it
to there first year, but never give up. It is those to keep trying,
who keep coming back, who eventually find there way to a life free
from addictions.
Those files I'm posting are very good, but they are not enough by
themselves. Spiritual growth involves going outside your ego self and
connecting to something much larger which always includes other
people. The "something bigger" can be very different from person to
person, but it gets them out of the shell, or hell, of their own ego.
Often the very worst emotional part of addiction is the isolation and
loneliness, next are resentments and anger. You need to address that
first, but even small steps will help if you continue taking the small
steps everyday.
