Welcome back to the series of probably uncirculated audience recordings. So the story goes, Tape Man Joe attended many concerts.
Joe used a Sony D6 with a Nakamichi Mic and TDK metal tapes. Joe made a few copies and gave them to friends but never actively
traded his recordings. Recently Joe lent a few of his masters to his friend, Jungleland user G (a generous collector himself
who has lent tapes from his collection to help upgrade many shows). G asked me to finish off the transfers and post them.
Joe's master now gives us four separate recordings from this show. To my ears, it's easily an upgrade to the other three tapes.
There are a couple of flaws. Joe flips between Roulette and Cover Me. It also sounds like he had a technical issue at the ending
of "Hungry Heart". There is a dropout and then he misses all of Glory Days. No worries, with three other tapes in circulation,
a good patch was available (see notes below).
As for the show, I'll let a long time fan share their assessment of the Rosemont Tunnel of Love shows.
"The 16th and 17th were the two worst Bruce shows I saw of all the shows I've seen, at the height of his marital problems,
seemed like he was just going through the paces to get them over with.... second night was a little better than the first night.
Only time if someone else I was into was in town my buddy and I might have sold our tickets..."
I didn't get the same sentiment listening to the show. Maybe it was something you had to witness in person.
Thanks to Tape Man Joe for recording and sharing his tapes and G for transferring the files.

From Brucbase WikiDot:
First change in the first set of the tour to date with "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" replacing "Seeds". "Part Man, Part Monkey"
includes "Love Is Strange" in the outro. Previously ever-present "Walk Like A Man" also dropped, replaced by the tour premiere of
"Backstreets". "Born To Run" is solo acoustic. "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)" includes an Irish jig in honour of St. Patrick's Day
in Chicago. "Detroit Medley", which includes "I Hear A Train" and "Sweet Soul Music", also has a rather special ending with the
closing vamp Elvis used to end his shows, before the band returns for "Raise Your Hand".
IVAN EDIT:
1) Tracks renamed/renumbered for CD burning
2) Tracks tagged
3) New .md5 & .ffp files created
