Nick's Fat City 1998.txt
Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers
with Bruce Springsteen
March 2, 1998
Pittsburgh, PA, Nick's Fat City
On a Monday night, on March 2, 1998, Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers celebrate the release of Grushecky's lattest new album "Coming Home" in a small club in his hometown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The surprising guest on this evening was Bruce Springsteen, who himself traveled around 9 hours by car from New Jersey. He appeared with no introduction at the start of the second set, around 10:30, wearing a Florida State baseball cap that shrouded his face and a black T-shirt. What followed was an almost two-hour set with the Springsteen song "Ramrod", which was part of Soundcheck.
