Mr. T shipped his tapes to Jared back in 2012 and Jared made the transfers back then, storing them on a hard drive which came into my possession after his untimely passing in October 2016. Mr. T asked that JEMS try to make the most of his work from 1981 to 1988, the first of which is this spirited, 31-song set.
As noted above, the atmosphere for the show is electric and the crowd in full voice. Once again Mr. T had the thankless job of holding steady and capturing as best he could, and the results given those conditions are impressive.
This is the second of Mr. T masters, and we will post more in the coming months. Please express your thanks to him for taping the shows and making his masters available to JEMS. Of course we also recognize the work of the late, great Jared Houser for converting the tapes. May he rest in peace.

What a night it was, a whopping 31 songs and Mr. T was there with his trusty D3 to capture every second. As BK mentions above the atmosphere was electric and the crowd energetic but remarkably Mr. T finds an oasis in the middle of it all.
It's remarkable how quiet the audience is around him, there were some mastering challenges, it is after all a 100,000 seat stadium but his location is perfect for capturing the love the Spanish crowd showers the band with throughout the night. The sing-alongs are captured without the painful singing around the taper that happens at so many shows.
There is distance to the capture but with the stadium being open air the sound does not bounce. It is well balanced and even throughout, steady from start to finish. It is hiss free from the master so feel free to give it some volume on playback.
As a bonus we have included portions of four songs broadcast in Barcelona on TV2 as part of a twenty feature also supplied by Mr. T from his master capture.
