Uploaded for completists. New tape transfer of the River Flood source recently reuploaded by Hrubesh and as discussed in the comments for that upload. This represents a minor upgrade where quality is largely below average for both versions. This transfer does avoid some transcription issues with the River Flood version. The most significant upgrades are the inclusion of the thank you speech before Born To Run and to the intro for I'm A Rocker where a brief dedication is now audible.

This show was uploaded for the River Flood with an infofile which says "A little distant sounding, and an occasional warp. Not great, not bad. Some of the between song banter has been cut out, some transitions are not as nice as they can be. Best we can do."
I tried to get clarification whether I had the same source but until Hrubesh uploaded it I had not been able get hold of a copy. I was previously advised that the version uploaded for the River Flood was significantly shorter (around 9 minutes) in duration than what I had on tape.
The 3 versions of this show listed in the Jungleland artwork section all appear to have been fitted on to 2 discs and were uploaded to that section by the same person which is indicative of them being the same source. A while ago I was able to get hold of a set of mp3s with the title "As The Fog Was Lifting" which corresponds to one of the Jungleland titles. The River Flood version corresponds to one of the other Jungleland titles.
I had previously checked the track times for the mp3s vs flac files from a transfer of my tapes. The total run time for the mp3s is also much less than the tapes. The "Thank you" speech before Born to Run is cut from the River Flood version and mp3s. This is the only substantial "banter" that was cut. Some applause has been cut relative to the tapes for example at the start and at the tape change for the end of Rosalita to I'm A Rocker. The beginning of I'm a Rocker is cut relative to the tapes where a brief dedication is also missing.
The quality of the tapes is below average but is fairly even. No serious recording flaws but just not very good fidelity. A bit shrill early on and some indications the tapes are a not so fresh generation where for example there is a mild whoosh from tape instability on The Ties That Bind.
I dont consider the River Flood version to be a fresh generation either and it does have some transfer issues right from the start. The River Flood version does sound a bit louder and is much brighter but artificially so and I would speculate this is down to mixing which has over emphasised the treble. The variation seems much more than would be expected due to differences between tape decks. In places the River Flood version is way too bright for my taste making tracks like Sherry Darling far to shrill. The River Flood version also suffers from some transcription flaws for example at the beginning of I'm A Rocker that are not on this tape transfer so there are some minor improvements for some songs on this transfer.
This transfer provides a slightly more complete version of the show and from that perspective represents a minor upgrade which is why I am uploading it for the benefit of completists.
Transfer/Trade and Generation Info: Tape Transfer
2 Sony HF90 cassettes from a UK Record Fair in the early to mid 1980s.
Playback via Yamaha KX480 tape deck with play trim at neutral and dolby off. I tried using dolby and play trim to try to reduce the shrillness early on but could not find any settings which worked for me. I set the recording level to avoid clipping and did not try to adjust it afterwards which is why the River Flood version superficially sounds louder. As I already had this packaged I did not want to go back to amplify the volume or brighten the tone to match the River Flood version. Even using play trim at maximum with dolby off the tapes are not as bright as the River Flood version.
Recorded using Audacity, exported as flac files and tracks split using CD Wave.
Files tested and checked for errors and SBEs using TLH.

Note there was a brief cut between 26 Applause and 27 Born To Run and I dont know if this was due to an edit of the applause or is a brief drop out.
Note the original art work for the River Flood version and "As The Fog Was Lifting" had only 2 disks but the Detroit Medley will no longer fit for that configuration. For disc burning it still makes sense to have the first set on disc 1 ie 01 to 14. I would suggest the final tape ie 24 to 28 onto disc 3. End of tape "fades" are as on the tapes and not very clean.
