Isn't Canada A Long Ways From Here.txt

Venue:CIVIC CENTRE,
Location:SAGINAW, MI
Source:Killers in the Sun CD-R
Title:Isn't Canada A Long Ways From Here?
KILLERS IN THE SUN> CD-R Purchase(Hey it was 1997 and I didn't have a burner. I bought it from a Canadian ironically)>
EAC(Secure Mode)> CD Wave Editor(To cut out the screams of those bloody Canucks)> Goldwave (Crossfades and EQ)>
Flac Frontend (Flac Level 8, Align, Verify)
Upload will include Flac Fingerprint, Spectral/Frequency Analysis and Quickpar Recovery Volume.
This is an edit that I've had in mind for years to do, but just never had the time or know-how to do it. As stated on
Brucebase, this is clearly on of the best shows on the entire Darkness tour. The set list speaks for itself and the
performance is first rate. The recording has excellent fidelity which leads to the only issue with the source tape.
The fucking morons near the taper who wouldn't shut up. In fact isn't that they don't stop talking as it's that they
didn't stop screaming requests until late in the show (Disc 3 needed no edits).
I went through the entire recording and cut out what I could (See Bonus Track). Most edits come between tracks with only
four of the edits taking place during songs.A few of the cuts are a little harsh but I worked on them from every conceivable
angle that I could think of. I think the edits are still easier to listen to than the untouched recording.I did the best I
could to fix the 15 seconds of Good Rockin'Tonight that was over recorded. I made over a 100 attempts at rejoining Racing
in the Street and Thunder Road together. I didn't like a single take so they remain split across two discs.
Hope you Enjoy! Buckshot
