If anyone here lives in the Southern California area and has the resources
available this weekend, I've been trying to get the two Ralph Story nostalgia
documentaries "Things That Aren't Here Anymore" and "More Things That Aren't
Here Anymore", which in any sane world would be available on DVD (the second one
is on YouTube in about a dozen segments recorded by someone pointing a video
camera at a TV screen for an hour and a half)....
KCET is running both during a viewer-pledge period this weekend, and a decent
off-the-air recording would satisfy my personal needs...since it's a pledge
drive, bear in mind that the shows may very well run over their scheduled times,
and of course there will be a lot of extraneous interruptions while they ask for
money....
If you're in the broadcast area of KCET, aren't using your recording setup
during the time in question, and can arrange to get the shows posted here, I
(and probably a lot of other former Angelenos) would appreciate it....r

Me? Sarcastic?
Yeah, right.
