Don't give much hope in anyone finding a copy. Seems to be impossible to
find.
It would be interesting to see it, though, given that Shirley Mills is in
it. One of the underdogs of the filming industry. Given the main role of
"Jennie" in "Child Bride" at age 12 (amazingly, some backwards-striving
people of the world actually haven't matured beyond the point in history
this film is showing), and then, a few years after, the minor role of
"Ruthie" in the excellent drama "Grapes of Wrath," showing a time in
history we don't want back.
In "Under Pup" she also plays a minor role, credited far down the list,
but it would be interesting to at least see for myself what she did with
her role. The theme of the film sounds intriguing enough.
Shirley passed away in 2010, aged 83, in--I dare say--obscurity (film
wise). She stopped filming in 1961, at age 35, after a long line of
uncredited roles.
I would, too. Probably flipping the industry the bird in the process, but
that's beside the point.
Thanks in advance if you, dear reader, manage to find a copy to post!
