Several years ago, I saw a short subject on Turner about some old
reclusive guy, who seemed pretty unsociable with his neighbors, and
who had the reputation as being a weirdo. Would never let anyone into
his house.
After he died and the neighbors had a chance to get inside the home,
they found life-size carved figures of his wife and childen who had
died some years earlier, and which he had kept as sort of a shrine to
his lost family.
Never did see the title of the short, and it's hard to try to watch
for one of those between feature shorts anyway. Just wondering whether
anyone recalled this one, and perhaps kept a recording of it while
recording their TCM collection. I'd sure like to get a copy if there
is one floating around somewhere.
Thanks,
Colonel Buckshot
