I'm afraid so. It's a direct capture off TV so it's not as bad as a
VHSrip. But it's only 1000 kbps Divx (See the blocking on the giraffes @
20 mins). The give-away is the gap in the B of Bennett in the titles, the
dap-js cap has a ticker running across the bottom which the DVD maker has
masked off. Also the font on the "Adapted from The short happy life..."
is completely wrong, again trying to mask off the das-js capture credit.
There IS a 35mm print somewhere which was shown in 2012 at the TCM
Classic Film Festival

and I assume this is what was shown on 17th October on TCM for which I
made the request.
Ah well, it'll turn up eventually. Thanks for trying, sorry about the
