I would say torrentday and IPT yes.
It is going to depend on your interests though.
If your chasing rare vintage stuff only then perhaps not.
For films and tv shows yes.
Speed of downloads is generally very good as there are lots of seeds.
No takedowns to worry about.
You do have to seed back a bit or you will get hit with the ban hammer.
torrentday is the easiest to maintain an acceptable ratio on.
IPT and TD are owned by the same entity i believe but they have different rules
and IPT generally has more seeds.
Most of the time it doesn't matter, unless it is an old torrent which has fell
of TDs tracker but is still available on IPT.
If you make a donation (go VIP) you can fill your boots with no worries about
ratio.
Same as the good NZB sites.
Private trackers have rules that you have to live with.
They are loaded with content though and generally have plenty of seeds so you
dont wait for ever for something to download, or the seeds disappear on you like
TPB.1337x etc do.
The trackers also use encrypted connections so you get spied on less by your
ISP.
BTW
I use Utorrent 2.2.1 not the newer versions.
(This applies to Sara also)
If you create a throw away email address i can get an invite to you so you can
have a look around.
When you have an account set up change the email and then abandon the throw away
one.
