I've been using Freemake for quite a while and today it crashed over
and over. I uninstalled and when trying to reinstalled from the setup
file it failed and took me to the website to 'manually' download the
files but it opens a page that says 404 etc, etc. When I tried to d/l
from cnet I was able to get to the install process but it wouldn't
allow me to opt out of the add-on garbage. Thinking I would just let
it go and remove them from the Control Panel I got a WIN32 virus alert
from my anti-virus. My a/v quarantined the virus and I removed the
garbage. I would really like to get Freemake working again.
Has their site been hacked?
